A PA House GOP staffer dug up this little item of pork barrel spending, courtesy State Representative Jesse White:
The Wii challenge came about after I helped all of my local senior centers (Cross Creek, Burgettstown and Cecil-McDonald) get state grants to purchase large screen televisions and Nintendo Wii game systems.
So the state budget is "cut to the bone"? We need $700 million in higher taxes or else children will starve? Nintendo Wii's are a right?
